Die Argumente dagegen solltest du selbst finden. Warum gibts die denn bei uns nicht?
Dafuer??? da musst du dich schon sehr anstrengen und Hass , Rache altes Testament "aug um Auge Zahn um Zahn" und so Zeugs anfuehren. usw.

Every year a lot of murderers are executed. The death penalty hold criminals from commiting crimes. They know if they commit a crime they will be imprisoned or sent to death.
It´s very difficult to decide whether somebody should live or die. Nevertheless human doesnt have the right to take life away from other human.
Judges are not always competent or independent. So it could happen that innocent people are executed. The death penalty is an irreversible (<gibt es hier noch vllt ein passenderes Wort?) punishment. Once carried out it can never be corrected.
The supporters of the death penalty want to prevent criminals from commiting another crime. They execute murderers and prevent people from killing again. This way you can save innocent lives in furture.
On the one hand the death penalty is considered to be an appropriate punishment for very cruel crimes but on the other hand you can´t really prevent people from killing by threatening to kill them. Life imprisonement has the same effect. They would spend their whole life there so it would be a moral or ermotional punishment. They would have to suffer from their guilty conscience.
Sometimes it happens that murderers become religious in this time.
The modern view is that criminals should improve during their time in prison.
Today, almost two thirds of the world's countries, including virtually all of Europe, have abolished the death penalty. It is time for the U.S. to follow this trend: The death penalty is a fundamentally flawed public policy that has outlived any usefulness it may have once had.
In the end a question:
If you execute a killer for killing, who excutes the executioner for killing?

Die beiden Sätze finde ich nicht so toll, a) was sagt das aus, dass sie im Gefängnis religiös werden?
b) gibt es vielleicht noch eine bessere Formulierung für "sich verbessern" in diesem Zusammenhang:
to change for the better
bzw. den Satz erweitern, durch was Sie sich verbessern, und was sich genau verbessert (Gesundheit, Gewissen, Umgangsformen,...)

Hier vielleicht nicht einfach so 'ne Zahl angeben, woher hast du die?
Wurde speziell in Bezug auf die USA gefragt?
Ansonsten muss man auf jeden Fall schreiben, das es auch dort nur in manchen Staaten noch die Todesstrafe gibt, kann man ja nicht alle in einen Sack stecken

Das würde ich so streichen. Ich verstehe zudem auch nicht was genau du damit sagen möchtest. Du könntest vielleicht ergänzen dass man das Resozialisierung nennt.

na das sie sich während des Aufenthalts im Gefängis sich zum besseren Menschen entwickeln, bzw die Fehler zu bereuen.
